Best Advice And Internet Marketing Tips

Here is a sum up of the most important tips for the best development of the internet marketing. These pieces of advice should be kept in mind whenever organizing an internet marketing project as they have all been tasted and appear quite well if taken into account.

The first idea is not to copy anything from anywhere. You can do it yourself and be sure that you are always original so the project will be outstanding. Moreover, the supervisor for your project or even your customer will find nothing to criticize. What you need to do is to give some of your time to research and along with some key elements, the campaign should be nothing but exquisite.

Furthermore, stay away from inhibitions. Even if your idea sounds odd or out of the ordinary, don’t draw back and use it. Every person who pays for such jobs are in search for something unique because they will use it as a prior element for the image of their company.

In addition, your image should be clean. Show professionalism and always refer to some past successful collaborations. You should make no compromise. Apply to some low charged_websites to turn your business into something successful. Or best, you should think about purchasing your own domain.

You must get someone to help you and advise you. Never try to compromise your image if you are not a professional in this field. You can even turn to counseling sites or companies because you shouldn’t take any risk whatsoever.

Never stop learning and experimenting. Technology, science and even the Internet is in a permanent change. You should never accept conservatory ideas and keep on learning and invest in the newest programs and technologies.Because internet marketing involves creativity and despises the usual.Take some time to make sure you involve the newest elements.

Pay a lot of interest to the competitor’s work.Don’t allow them to surpass you by any means If you do so you are likely to loose many project. It is said ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’. Not that you should consider your competitors, enemies, but you should be aware of their progress and work.

Don’t waste time. If you have ideas don’t let them be wasted.Use them and your success is almost guaranteed. This will both advertise your projects and bring you many customers.

So you want to run an awards program?

I know you’ve seen those awards graphics all over the web. Most
web sites win one, two or a dozen awards and display them
proudly on their home page until the page loads so slow that no
one visits anymore. Finally, they realize this and create a
separate awards page, and eventually, if they are anything like
me, they have to create an entire awards section!

At some point many of these award winners realize that, hey,
they could also give an award themselves! Sometimes they want to
give awards out of a desire for more traffic (an awards program
does generate more than a few hits), and sometimes they want to
reward other sites for their achievements. More often, a
webmaster cannot explain why he wants to give awards - he just
wants to.

One note of caution: if your goal is traffic and traffic only,
then awards are a fine way to get people to your site. However,
by far most people who sign up for awards simply go straight to
your award application form without looking at anything else. So
while it is a way to get people to your site, it really isn’t a
great way to get qualified visitors who are actually interested
in what you have to offer.

A good awards program is a lot of work. Spend the time and you
will have some great and perhaps unexpected rewards of your own.
Please don’t just slap together a silly little awards program
and expect to get very much from it. And don’t go out and get a
script to automate the whole process. That’s not what awards are
about.

All right, the first thing you should do (before you do anything
else) is sit down in a comfortable chair with your comfy
slippers and a glass of your favorite beverage. Make sure it is
quiet and you have some time set aside. Now, think about what
you are trying to accomplish.

What is your purpose in creating an awards program? Are you:

- Trying to get traffic - Trying to get other people to link
back to you and raise your search engine popularity - Want to
give something back to the internet community - Like the idea of
helping others improve their web sites - Want to light up
someone’s life by giving them an award - Like making cute little
graphics

You answer(s) to this question will determine how you proceed.
If you are just trying to get traffic or increase your search
engine ranking, then you do not need to put in anywhere near as
much time and care into your program. Just create your graphic,
a simple explanation page and make your award known.

If, on the other hand, you’ve got loftier goals, then you need
to continue your thought process. Now that you’ve decided on
your purpose, think about some other things.

1) Do you want a general award (best site) or a specific award
(best Star Trek The Next Generation fan site with pictures of
James T. Kirk?)

2) Do you want to allow automatic submissions (which means many
people will who apply for your award will never even see your
site?)

3) How specific do you want to get with the criteria? Some
programs just say “you’ll get it if I like your site” and others
have pages of complex equations stating exactly what is expected
to get an award.

4) This is very important: how much time do you want to spend on
your awards program? A couple of hours a week? More? Less?

5) Are there specific types of sites that you do not want to
allow? For example, many programs exclude adult sites and our
own program excludes psychiatric sites. It doesn’t matter
whether or not anyone agrees with your exclusions - it is your
awards program and you need to be comfortable with it.

6) Do you want to allow children under age 13? If so, you had
better review the legal requirements involved (specifically the
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.)

In addition to all of this, it is also important to treat your
awards program seriously, at least as seriously as your web
site. As you hand out your award to more and more sites, you
will find people judging you based upon whom you have judged.
Give out your award lightly just to get some traffic, and you
will find your own site judged lightly and visited infrequently.

Breast Cancer: What Women Should Know

>From relative obscurity, breast cancer has become one of the
leading causes of deaths among women in the world. In 2001,
about 200,000 cases of breast cancer have been reported in the
United States, making it the second leading cause of cancer
death in the US. It is, in fact, the most common malignancy
problem that is affecting women in North America and Europe
today.

But what is breast cancer and how do people get it?

Breast cancer occurs when malignant tumors in the breast grow
and start to affect other tissues in the body. There is still no
clear indications how tumors are created but what is often
observed is that cancerous cells usually comes from ducts or
glands.

Although women’s health organizations advise women to massage
the breast daily and to feel for any lumps, it may a long time
before a cancerous cell get big enough for us to feel it. By
that time, it may already be too late. Doctors make use of
mammograms for their diagnosis.

Breast at risk

All women are actually at risk, with the risk increasing with
the presence of some risk factors that are already part of the
natural cycle, for example, aging. Family history of breast
cancer can also significantly affect the prognosis as heredity
has been found to play a role. Women who got their periods
before they were 12 years old and those who never had or had
children after 30 years old are also more likely to develop
breast cancer.

There are also risk factors that medical science can help alter
such as hormonal problems through replacement therapies. Women
are also advised to decrease their consumption of alcoholic
drinks, exercise every day and decrease the use of birth control
pills. Breastfeeding has been found to decrease the risk of
breast cancer development.

Although there are some factors that women can avoid to prevent
breast cancer from developing, cause and effect relationships
between these factors and breast cancer is still debatable. For
women who are already at high risk, doctors often recommend a
drug called Tamoxifen, which is known to decrease the risk by as
much 50 percent when taken in five years. Still, like all
medications, Tamoxifen has side effects such as hot flushes,
vaginal discharges and sometimes even blood clots. Taking the
drug can also lead to pulmonary emobolus, stroke and uterine
cancer, although these are all isolated cases.

Another avenue that women can go to is Vitamin A, which some
studies show to be effective in decreasing the risk. Still,
research is still in the initial stages and nothing has been
proven yet. Other things that are being linked to the breast
cancer fight are phytoestrogens, which can be found in soya,
Vitamin E, and Vitamin C.

But until something concrete is found in research, the only
thing that women can do to ensure that they are safe from breast
cancer is early detection. This can be done through daily
self-examinations as well as annual check ups and mammogram
tests. It is also important that women know the beginnings of
breast cancer. Here are some of the signs that they should watch
out for.

Lumps in the breast and in the underarms Scaling of the skin of
the breast and of the nipple Redness in the skin of the breast
and of the nipple Changes in the size of their breasts
Discharges from the nipple

If these signs are observed, it is best to consult a specialist
so that you can know whether you have breast cancer or not.

Australian Search Engine Toolbars

In the last couple of years Australians have been hit with a barrage of online advertisements by search engines trying to get us to download their toolbars. Many are feature packed with pop up blockers, spell checkers, customisable buttons and quick links to news, weather forecasts and other useful tools.

So which one is the best? It comes down to the search engine you most regularly use and what features you consider most important.

The Ansearch Toolbar for instance, allows you to refine your search based on gender and age which is very cool. It also comes with quick links to weather forecasts which I find very useful.

The Google Toolbar features a spell check and dictionary which is very appealing students and anyone else who regularly uses the Internet for research.

If you’re still not too sure which one to install, just try them all out and then make your decision. It’s simply a matter of uninstalling the ones you don’t find useful.

Four Mistakes to Avoid During a Data Center or Server Move/Consolidation

Server consolidation and data center moves can deliver
significant benefits - including cost savings, enhanced business
continuity, optimized service management, and improved
regulatory compliance.

The impact of this physical displacement should not be
underestimated. If you don’t adequately understand and address
the issues that arise when you put more physical distance
between users and servers, you can set yourself up for serious
pain and potential failure.

Here are four killer mistakes you should be particularly careful
to avoid:

1) Confusing network latency with application latency If moving
your servers adds 50 milliseconds of network latency, that
doesn’t mean that your application response times will only
increase by 50 milliseconds. On the contrary, applications
require many back-and-forth interactions between user and server
(often referred to as application “turns”). So the addition of
50 milliseconds of network latency can cause an action that only
took 3 seconds to complete locally to take 30 seconds to
complete after a server move.

Network managers can’t change the speed of light, or make Tokyo
closer to New York. So it doesn’t make sense to lay the problem
entirely on them. In fact, because application design issues are
often responsible for poor response times after a server move,
additional investments in the network will be of little use
whatsoever.

2) Failing to realize how network latency impacts server
performance and scalability Servers allocate resources to each
client session and lock them up until the session is completed.
Local clients complete their sessions quickly, because their
application turns experience minimal network-related delay.
Remote sessions take much longer to complete.

Thus, remote users keep the server’s resources busy for a longer
period of time - preventing the server from releasing its
resources for use by other clients and severely limiting its
ability to scale. That’s why IT organizations should consider
the possibility that network latency will require them to invest
in additional server infrastructure.

3) Putting distance between servers - even temporarily - can
crush performance It can take weeks or months to complete a move
to a new location. During interim stages, some systems will
operate from their original locations while others will operate
from the new location.

The impact this separation between servers has on application
performance can be even more dramatic and unexpected than the
introduction of latency between users and servers, because
computing processes are almost never designed to accommodate
significant inter-server latency.

Consider the following example of a credit application that
authenticates users on an Active Directory (AD) server and
accesses a database to validate customer credit scores:

1. Client accesses the credit application server (10 turns) 2.
Credit application server authenticates client on the AD server
(50 turns) 3. Credit application server gets credit data from
database server (200 turns) 4. Client receives answer from the
credit application server (5 turns)

Note that there aren’t many application turns between the client
and the front-end credit application, but there are many turns
between the servers. Thus, if distance between these servers is
introduced during a move, there is likely to be a severe impact
on application performance.

Any IT organization planning a
data center move must therefore ask a variety of questions.
What happens when servers with critical inter-dependencies are
temporarily separated? Which servers must be moved with other
servers? When should Active Directory servers be moved? Which
servers will need to be replicated for the duration of the move?

4) Not dealing with users’ performance expectations until after
the move Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to set a
post-relocation Service Level Objective (SLO) that is identical
to the SLO before the move. If it originally took a local user
three seconds to execute a task, it is very unlikely that the
task will take the same amount of time after servers are moved
across the country. So an SLO of seven seconds, for example, may
be more reasonable.

It’s therefore critical to address users’ service level
expectations up front. If you wait until after the move and tell
users they have to live with what you can deliver, you’re
setting yourself up for a battle. But if you can get buy-in
beforehand as part of the planning process, you can avoid such
hassles and ensure that no one has unrealistic expectations.

To achieve this pre-relocation acceptance, IT must be able to
predict and simulate post-relocation performance. These
predictive and simulation capabilities enable IT to set up
“acceptance environments” where users can experience
post-relocation performance before the move is actually executed
- and where they can buy into post-move SLOs before a single
server is relocated.

Seven Steps for Project Success IT organizations can avoid all
of these mistakes. But to do so, they must leverage the
expertise of the application team, systems managers and network
architects. They also need to be able to create virtual models
of both the pre- and post-relocation enterprise environment - as
well as all transitional phases.

IT organizations can avoid all of these mistakes. But to do so,
they must leverage the expertise of the application team,
systems managers and network architects. They also need to be
able to create virtual models of both the pre- and
post-relocation enterprise environment - as well as all
transitional phases.

The following seven-step plan highlights how collaboration and
modeling can ensure the success of a data center move:

1. Build a virtual model of the pre- and post-relocation
enterprise environment, as well as all planned transitional
phases. All participants in the planning process, including
business users, need concrete information about how network
infrastructure will impact application performance with the new
data center.

2. Establish an SLO baseline by measuring application
performance before the move. Users’ needs and expectations don’t
exist in a vacuum. Pre-move transaction response times provide
essential context for determining reasonable SLOs for after the
move.

3. Measure post-move application performance in a virtual
environment. The only way to accurately predict the impact of
server moves on application performance is to run those
applications in a fully simulated post-move environment. This
will provide the specific data on potential performance
degradations essential for proper planning.

4. Identify applications that need special performance tuning.
Rather than wasting time, effort and money on beefing up all
elements of your enterprise infrastructure, focus instead on
specific applications or network components that may be
particularly problematic.

5. Assess dependencies between back-end servers to establish an
appropriate move plan. In addition to addressing network
latencies between clients and servers, the team must fully
understand the impact of latencies that may be created between
servers during transitional stages of the move.

6. Analyze problems and validate potential fixes for failing
applications. Before investing in and deploying a solution, it’s
important to make sure that it actually works. Assumptions about
bandwidth or CPU power should always be tested before being
executed in the production environment.

7. Manage user expectations and get buy-in commitments for
performance improving investments through hands-on acceptance.
Users should therefore be given the opportunity to directly
experience post-move application performance in advance, so they
can offer informed consent to the relocation plan.

By following this seven-step plan, IT organizations can
substantially reduce risk, eliminate unnecessary infrastructure
spending, accelerate time-to-benefit, and overcome a wide range
of potential political pitfalls. So if you’re planning a server
consolidation or other type of data center move, consider
investing in simulation technology that allows you to experiment
with alternative scenarios and determine in advance what will
work and what won’t. It’s a great way to ensure that your
business reaps the full benefits of the move - without suffering
any of its potentially disastrous consequences.

Dare To Dream

The rewards of life come to those who do, not to those who
merely read, talk or day dream. Action is the key.

Okay I want you to answer this question:

“In December of last year did you achieve all you set out
to achieve in January of the same year?”

This is a ‘yes or no’ answer, so don’t spend too long
considering it.

The answer, of course, is ‘no’ - unless you are a
pathological liar!

Next question: “Did you set out to achieve anything last
year?”

Aha! Now that’s a more interesting question I think.

Deciding at the start of a year that you want to achieve a
certain result by the end of that year, is an example of
our old friend goal-setting.

High-performance people set goals. Winners set goals.
Losers never set goals. Why? Because it takes about 20
minutes of concentrated effort to write down your goals,
and losers have far more important things to do than this.
It interferes with valuable boozing time, for example. Such
a task would take up nearly a whole episode of a soap
opera. You could read a trash newspaper from cover to cover
in this time.

But there is a more important reason why many people don’t
write goals. It is this. Writing goals commits you to
action, otherwise there is little point in writing them.

Turning your dreams (goals) into reality will not happen
automatically. It will require work and effort.

“Ohmygod!!! WORK, and EFFORT??? Forget it man! I’m not
writing down anything on a piece of paper which will commit
me to that!”

This is why people do not set goals (write down their
dreams). They cannot bear to have that piece of paper
leering at them in silent accusation as the months tick by.

But what is at stake here? Nothing less than undreamed of
wealth, unlimited happiness, and a totally fulfilled life.
Perhaps more importantly, you can meet your fear head on
and live like a warrior, not a frightened rabbit.

The older I get the more I wonder what the hell we’re all
so afraid of. Like you, I travel the world and see or hear
about real problems; murder, torture, death, disease and
starvation. Then I return to this grey, stuffy country to
witness intelligent and privileged people wasting their
lives away down the pub or propped in front of the TV
screen for (on average) four hours each night! Unbelievable!

And these people are also timid beyond belief. They are
completely risk-averse and will run bleating to the
authorities if the tiniest upset ruffles the calm waters of
their uneventful lives. I am saying all this in the hope
that it will make you shudder. None of it applies to you,
of course.

Achieving great wealth and happiness starts with having a
dream. Today’s dreams are surely tomorrow’s realities. So
you blew it last year? You have a chance to redeem yourself
this year - if you have the guts of course.

Got any fight left in you, or have you thrown in the towel
long ago? Are you a shivering, frightened little mouse or a
human being prepared to fight and win? Are you going to
spend the rest of this year bleating and moaning about how
you cannot succeed? Or are you going to do something about
making your own success a reality?

Are you prepared to fight?

A printing remedy

Printing has marked a challenge in the modern technology. See
how fast prints have increased in just a matter of time?
Printing has ever been reliable and recommended for use. Since
it has increased the printing rates, it has been made affordable
so anyone can just probably use and dedicate to it.

Printing cost has declined but the ink is still expensive and
even more expensive, but there have been alternatives set to
reduce the cost of inks and it has been very effective and
helpful. For students who are always using the printer for their
projects, printing cost may not be that friendly to them.

If you find inks hard to buy for your budget, there’s a reliable
way to cut it short. Replacements are now available and anyone
can easily afford it with no hassle. This is the simple way to
cut down your printing cost especially for the print maniacs.

Replacements are for the purpose of refilling your cartridges in
lesser ink. Refill kits are affordable and enough for use. You
can easily do it at home or anywhere your printer runs out of
ink. Some manufacturers tend to be tricky. They have produced
cartridges that are small so it can only hold small amount of
ink.

Standard cartridges contain half the content of the ink.
Printers have two cartridges for some reasons which are
advantageous. If one color runs out, you can replace it easily
and individually. This means you won’t have to waste your ink.
You will also know in particular what inks you will need. You
should be careful with the print head because it is sensitive
and very expensive. If replacements have shortened your budget,
print heads won’t. The print head is the one responsible for
printing. It prints the text and the objects and everything
displayed in the monitor.

Printers with two cartridges are economical for use especially
for office use and school use. Students and office workers need
to print only text for their reports so this will save inks.
Setting up your printing preference or setting to draft will
save the ink. When you are buying a printer, make sure the head
and the cartridge is running properly.

Some would often sell printers without the ink. Sometimes if a
printer is not replaced for a long time, the ink gets stuck
causing some problems which needs some cleaning touches and
polishing. So be extra careful and check it.

How to Play Poker — Poker Table Position

Poker seating and the position one has at the table is one
of the most important and least talked about aspects of
poker. It’s especially relative to the Texas Hold’Em poker
game because it is positional in nature. Where a player sits
each hand determines the amount of information he or she can
gain on other players. This can have a big effect on your
poker strategy and how a hand is played. This article will
reference how to play poker from a table of 10 players and
discuss playing from the dealer, early, middle and late
positions.

Dealer Position — This position, also referred to as “on
the button”, is the most coveted because once the flop takes
place, the dealer is the last to act. This means you can
watch and gather information on all the other players before
making your decision. Aggressive play is expected from this
position, especially when all others have checked. Almost
any hand except trash hands like 9 2, 10 4 offsuit can be
considered for play here.

For example, your opponent has Jc, Jh. You have Qd, Kd and
are the dealer. Your opponent raised $20 before the flop and
you called. The flop shows 2d, 3d, 5d. You both check the
flop and the turn shows 8c. Your opponent checks, you raise
$20 and they call. On the river the Js comes up and your
opponent raises $50. From watching you figure they may have
trips. You raise to $100, they call and you win with a King
high flush. Had you been in your opponents position of
having to bet first, you would have been hard pressed to
figure what the dealer had.

Early Position — This is made up of positions 1, 2 and 3 to
the left of the dealer and are the least advantageous as you
are the first to act after the flop and have no information
on the other players. Here one should play only the
strongest hands like paired A’s, K’s, Q’s, J’s, Tens, or
suited AK, AQ, AJ and KQ. Anything outside of these one
should consider folding and waiting for a better
opportunity, especially with an aggressive table. One thing
that can be done from an early position is bluffing. Betting
from an early position can imply that you do have a strong
hand, but bluffing too often will result in others picking
up on it and can be disastrous, particularly when aggressive
bettors are at the table.

Middle Position — Positions for the middle are 4th, 5th and
6th to the left of the dealer. Because the disadvantage is
not as great as with the early position, you have greater
flexibility to play more hands. Hands like paired 5’s thru
9’s, suited connectors from 5 6 on up, unsuited connectors 5
6, 6 7, on up. There are more hands that can be played but
this covers the majority that can be easily remembered.
Being in the middle, it is better to raise than call if no
one is in the pot, if you have a playable hand and you feel
some players will fold.

Late Position — The 7th, 8th and 9th seats at the table to
the left of the dealer make up the late position. Here you
are in an excellent seating area of the table. You can
gather a great amount of information about the players and
their hands. In these positions, one should be aggressive if
not many have entered the pot. If there are a lot of
players, scale back the aggressive play unless you have the
type of superior hand as discussed in the early position.
Another advantage of the late position is that you can
easily play cards like 5 8, J 7, Q 8. For example, supposing
you have 5 8 in the late position and the flop is 2 6 7
unsuited and everyone else checks. Raising at a
non-aggressive table would be the correct thing to do as it
gives you a chance to gain control of the pot as well as
keeping other raises in check from those who would try to
steal the pot. But remember, it is not a license to play
trash hands.

Poker seating is an advanced player concept, but the basics
are simple enough for anyone to remember and take advantage
of when the opportunity does present itself. Good luck!

You will need to Change a toner cartridge because:

1. Your printer implicates that toner is not full enough to
print. Note: Low toner generally implies you can print a couple
hundred extra pages without a problem 2. The pages turning out
of the printer appearance withered or washed out 3. The pages
develop a repeating shortcoming of some variety 4. Users are
able of and required to be capable to change toner in black and
white printers. Note: Color printers are harder so if you are
diffident of how to change color toner ring the helpdesk and
they will usually help you.

First thing you will want to realize is what model of printer
you develop.

This might be scripted on the printer somewhere, there are two
names that you will likely find on the printer, one is the name
of the printer. The other is the model name . You may want the
model name.

With this information, most stores might be capable to tell you
which exchange toner cartridge to apply. Note: If there is a
nuiscance identifying which exchange to employ call the printer
manufacturers helpdesk. Supply them your serial number and they
will make sure you have the replenishment toner cartridge that
you should.

Utilize the following process to replace the toner cartridge

1. Take the new cartridge back to the printer and take the fresh
toner cartridge from the package. 2. Power the printer off. 3.
Open the toner cover on the printer. 4. dislodge the old toner
by extracting and away from the printer. Note:It should come to
low to print with only a modest amount of pressure 5. dislodge
the new toner from its bag, remove the protective strip from the
cartridge. Note: This is a small tab on the side of the
cartridge that is bound to a plastic strip. If you do not
dislodge this strip the printer will only print blank sheets.
Attend to stay away from getting the toner on you once you rip
off the strip. Spilled toner is best cleansed up with a dry
textile. If you splatter any toner on yourself you can wash it
off with cold water 6. Place the new cartridge into the printer
the like way the old unit came to low to print Note:there will
be arrows or other prompts to help you line up the cartridge
right and itt had better glide in with minimal force. If it does
not glide in easily, make sure you develop the cartridge aligned
right and that you are using the correct cartridge 7. Once you
develop the cartridge sat down all they way in place then close
the toner cover. 8. Power the printer back on. 9. Print a couple
of test pages

If the prints appearance wonderful, you are just about done,

How To Lose Weight Quickly

There are only a few way to lose massive amounts of weight quickly. The most foolproof is surgery. They others are pretty messy.

It probably took you years to put on the pounds you carry around. Looking to get rid of them overnight is like expecting to strike oil in your front yard. You have to remember what I call “weight loss math.”

A pound of body fat (yes, that’s gross) has about 3,500 calories. If you burn 750 calories per day, which is some good exercise, it would take you about 4.5 days to get rid of that pound. If you’re 30 pounds overweight, it would take you 140 days. And that’s assuming you aren’t eating anything. You’d be dead by then.

Physiologically speaking, losing weight takes a little time. Now, it doesn’t have to take years. If you want to know how to lose weight quickly, here’s your answer: Reduce your net caloric intake per day significantly.

Suppose you eat 2,000 calories per day. If you cut that to 1,500 per day, and you burn 500 exercising, your net caloric intake is 1,000. If you’re 30 pounds overweight, and you’re starving your body of 1,000 calories per day, you should lose your weight in about 105 days. And you still get to eat! Just not as much as you want.

Four months to thinness might not sound “quick” to you, but it really isn’t a long time. You might not see those results, but it’s possible. Even if it took you 6-12 months, is that a problem? Sexy in under a year. Not bad.
