Bobwhite Quail Hatching Eggs
Bobwhite quail hatching eggs are a popular type of quail egg. Bobwhites have a distinctly coloured head with white stripes. Although many people think that hatching these eggs is very difficult, in reality anyone could do it. Quails make good pets and hatching quail eggs can be a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family. They are very playful and cute looking chicks with fluffy feathers making them a favourite with many people. Essential equipment that you will need is an incubator and a temperature guide. The eggs are placed into the incubator and kept at the temperatures of 38 Degrees Celsius (100.4 Fahrenheit) which should be checked three times a day and turned up until day 15. Humidity is very important for these eggs and room temperature water should be used to fill the water trough in the incubator. Quail eggs usually hatch within 25 days but when they hatch, they should not be instantly removed from the incubator. Instead, wait for their feathers to dry naturally inside the incubator before placing them into a nest box with borders as they have a tendency to run. Many recommend they should not be helped out of their shell because opening the incubator will affect the hatch rate of the other eggs due to a fluctuation in temperatures.
