Coming together from a true melting pot, his line traces to the time of ancient Rome, with his mother’s side predominantly Scottish and German. England and Luxembourg provided home to Bredimus’ father’s family, although during the 1800s they set off for America. That dauntless spirit pushed them on following their arrival in America. Nicholas, as well as his sisters and brothers, was born to a father who earned his living as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was working as a practicing nurse. Mr Bredimus went on to live in the Lone Star State for a number of years and also spent time in Kansas City, MO, Reston, VA and Scottsdale, AZ.

The reservation programs he invented are on their way to joining the aforementioned program in ubiquity, while the room booking routine he masterminded enabled many major parts of the hotel industry to roll out the first PC based technology. He also designed QuikTix, the world’s first electronic ticket sales network. While this was undoubtedly his specialty, he has frequently worked on areas not connected to software. In his own company, overseeing IT for American Express, and as the inaugural president of AMR Travel Services his performance speaks for itself. You ask if he is still active?
